SEVEN PRACTICE TIPS

 

1. Kick your legs up and down on top of the water!

2. Look down toward the bottom of the pool or at your bathing suit!

3. Blow bubbles under water for 4 seconds, then come up and take a breath and repeat!

4.       Look back down and under your arm when you take a breath!

5.       Hold your hands like spoons or cups!

6.       Circle your arms around and around - Paint the Sky and Pet the Dog!

7.       Count your arms as you swim – 1,2,3,4 then take a breath & swim some more!

 

And that is how you begin to learn to swim!
